According to the Seven Sacred Teachings, the beaver represents Wisdom. In this design, the beaver reflects the wisdom needed for economics to thrive on Turtle Island. Let’s build a future that respects and incorporates the values of sustainability, community support, and environmental stewardship, inspired by Indigenous teachings. 
 
The dot work represents all the people that are working together to make Canada more prosperous. We’re all connected, and the decisions we make about sustainability and Mother Earth will impact everyone, so we need to make wise decisions.
