Description

Wolf speaks to Grandmother Moon.

The wolf is a powerful symbol of family and loyalty. Wolves are known for caring for their young, supporting injured members of the pack, and remaining devoted to one another throughout their lives.

Inspired by artist Angie Saltman's Anishinaabe and Métis roots, the work reflects her relationship with her granny and the comfort she finds in speaking to Grandmother Moon. It also honours the loved ones who continue to guide us through memory, reflection, and connection.
